If you love aroma — Earl Grey with bergamot gives a bright citrus tone, while the Chinese Black Blooming offers a softer, more «rounded» version with floral notes. On varieties, benefits and consumption norms in detail — in the article «Black tea: benefits and harm, varieties and how to brew it properly".

Variety 80 g Who it suits
Ceylon Super Pekoe Strong, honey-astringent For the morning, with milk
Ceylon Art Pekoe Balanced, classic For every day
Earl Grey Citrusy, with bergamot For aroma lovers
Black Blooming Earl Grey Soft, floral For those who like it milder

How to brew black tea

Black tea is brewed with hot water at 90–95 °C for 3–5 minutes. Over-steep it and you get sharp bitterness and astringency from the tannins. Whole-leaf tea withstands 2–3 infusions. For a 200 ml cup, about one teaspoon of tea.

Loose-leaf, not bagged

Bags usually contain tea dust, which quickly turns bitter and loses its aroma within a couple of minutes. The whole leaf in our catalogue brews more evenly and holds its flavour longer — you notice it from the very first cup.

FAQ

GOT QUESTIONS? WE'LL ANSWER.

We work directly with plantations in China and Sri Lanka. Green and pressed pu-erh come from Yunnan province and other regions of China; black tea comes from the finest Ceylon plantations of Sri Lanka.

No. All Amir Tea is a natural product with no dyes, preservatives or GMOs. Aroma is achieved only through natural additions — jasmine, rose, fruit.

Pu-erh is brewed with 90-95°C water in a small teapot. It's recommended to pour off the first infusion after 10-15 seconds — this "awakens" the tea. From the second brew, pu-erh reveals its full taste and aroma. One cake can be brewed up to 8-10 times.
