The Amir Tea catalogue features ten kinds of green tea from China: loose-leaf and classic leaf, flavoured blends with jasmine, peach and raspberry, as well as premium tied tea Jasmine Dragon Pearl. All of this is premium- and first-grade leaf tea, without dyes and 'barrel' aromatic additives. Delivery across Tashkent and all of Uzbekistan.

Which green tea to choose for your purpose

If you are trying green tea for the first time — start with classic orthodox leaf: it has an even grassy-nutty taste without sharp bitterness, and it forgives small brewing mistakes. If you love aroma in the cup — go for jasmine tea or fruit blends with peach and raspberry: jasmine gives a soft floral note, and the fruity ones a light sweetness without sugar. For special occasions and as a gift, Jasmine Dragon Pearl is ideal — hand-rolled pearls that unfurl beautifully in a clear teapot.

We've gathered a detailed breakdown of the varieties in the article "Types of green tea: sencha, gunpowder, Dragon Well — which to choose», and about its effect on the body — in the piece «Green tea: benefits and harm, how much you can drink".

How to brew it so it doesn't turn bitter

The main mistake with green tea is boiling water. At 100 °C the leaf releases tannins and the drink turns bitter. The optimum is 75–85 °C and 1.5–3 minutes of steeping; a good leaf withstands 2–4 infusions. Exact temperatures for each variety are in the guide «How to brew green tea properly".

Green tea, China, premium grade, №110 80 g Who it suits
Classic loose-leaf Even, grassy-nutty For starting out and every day
With jasmine Soft, floral For lovers of aromatic tea
With peach / raspberry Sweetish, fruity For those who dislike bitterness
Jasmine Dragon Pearl Rich, delicate As a gift and for ceremony

Why loose-leaf, not tea bags

A tea bag holds tea dust and small fannings — it releases bitterness fast and loses aroma. Whole leaf brews several times and reveals its flavour gradually. At Amir Tea all green tea is loose-leaf, and the packaging lets you buy both to sample and to stock up.

FAQ

GOT QUESTIONS? WE'LL ANSWER.

We work directly with plantations in China and Sri Lanka. Green and pressed pu-erh come from Yunnan province and other regions of China; black tea comes from the finest Ceylon plantations of Sri Lanka.

No. All Amir Tea is a natural product with no dyes, preservatives or GMOs. Aroma is achieved only through natural additions — jasmine, rose, fruit.

Pu-erh is brewed with 90-95°C water in a small teapot. It's recommended to pour off the first infusion after 10-15 seconds — this "awakens" the tea. From the second brew, pu-erh reveals its full taste and aroma. One cake can be brewed up to 8-10 times.
